Today, too many agencies operate as intermediaries, recruiting guides and porters precariously and often without insurance, with no guarantee of continuous employment and forcing them to live mainly on tips This system exploits the guides, who are the beating heart of every mountain adventure.<br\/><br\/>We, Mario, Robi, Bibi and Dalam, decided to change all that. Our agency is unique because it is 50 per cent owned by the Nepalese guides themselves, guaranteeing them stability, safety and respect. We believe that guides should be recognised and valued for their professionalism and their essential contribution to expeditions.<br\/><br\/>Our vision is to offer Himalayan exploration experiences that not only respect and protect the environment, but also value the people who make these adventures possible.
