We are professionals with certified experience, and safety always comes first. Our guides are licensed for the Himalaya, and Himalaya Exped is registered with the Nepal Ministry of Tourism under license No. 334290/80/081. For us, safety starts before departure: choosing the right itinerary, the right acclimatization schedule, and above all, the right season. That’s why we don’t organize treks in Nepal in August, during the monsoon.
Our Nepali guides speak English, Italian and German, and they’re the heart of Himalaya Exped. Together with them, we build itineraries that go beyond the usual routes: from the small Praken Gompa above Manang to the villages of Mustang, all the way to the most remote valleys of Manaslu. They know these mountains, the people who live here, and the places that reveal a more authentic Nepal.
For us, responsible tourism means making real choices: working with guides and porters in fair conditions, choosing family-run lodges and guest houses, and contributing to the economy of the communities we pass through. We provide drinking water every day during the trek to reduce plastic use, and in the Everest region, we introduce our groups to Sagarmatha Next and the Carry Me Back project.
